Shannon and I, and more than 20 others (mostly from North Carolina), spent most of the month of June enjoying the flowers, birds, gardens, beautiful scenery, good food, beer, and single malt scotch whiskies of the Scottish Hebrides. We stayed on Skye, Tiree, Iona, Jura, and Gigha, and visited Lunga, Staffa, Mull, and Islay. The hotels were especially nice, meals were excellent, companions congenial, and our leaders did an outstanding job of orchestrating activities, leisure, and travel, with numerous ferry rides.
